Thelma Gruss

Gruss Interiors has a long history.  Thelma is the third generation member of a family that started their interior decorating/wallcovering business in 1897. She started working with her father in 1972. In 1983, when it became fashionable to decorate homes and businesses with coordinating colors and themes, Thelma responded to the market and opened a showroom that featured goods and custom services for windows, walls and flooring. In 2004, in response to today’s added expectations for greater quality and more lasting furniture and accessories, she currently works out of a showroom with other designers and provides an expanded level of goods and services.

Maria Moscato

Maria Moscato established her design firm in 2000 after studying art design at Kensington College in London. She is a designer who celebrates color and has a great passion for decorating. Custom furnishings, an elegant and original mix of materials and styles, the blending of old and new, and careful attention to detail and quality are defining themes throughout her work. She is a full service designer who specializes in window treatments and kitchen and bath design. She has participated in two of Baltimore’s Symphony Decorator Showhouses and has been published in Chesapeake Home, Celebrate Style and the Baltimore Sun.
